2011 Oakland Marathon Results

Some unofficial results from today's Oakland Half and Full Marathons from the team. Gaylia Osterlund won her age group and finished 13th from 2090 ladies overall in the half. She also finished 2nd in the overall age graded results. Shoshanah Orzech was very close to her PR with a 1:38. Kelley Puglisi, Jenn Betancourt and Sam Forde ran 1:33, 1:33 and 1:37 in training runs for Boston marathon in three weeks time. Jenn's run was good enough to put her on the podium in the 25-29 age category. Carlos completed his first half marathon with a 2:03.

Martin Spierings ran a 3:04:34 good for 26th overall in the full. Martin's full race report here. Monica Martinez finished her first marathon in 4:13 and Liz Dane had a disappointing DNF after going through half in great time and then becoming ill but has vowed to have another crack soon.
